Newbies Dustin W Posted June 29, 2007 Newbies Posted June 29, 2007 Hello, We have a portal that could have any number or rows so we won't know if there are 3 portals row or 10. The thing is that we want a tab within our portal, is this possible. I thought it was but when I place a tab in the portal it only shows up in the first portal row. Please let me know if it's possible to have a tab show up in multiple portal rows. Thank you, Dustin
nick_jp Posted July 19, 2007 Posted July 19, 2007 why do you want a tab? If you want to just show the extra rows a scroll bar should suffice
Fenton Posted July 19, 2007 Posted July 19, 2007 You might want to consider creating a dedicated layout of just the portal. Show a count of the portal, so people can see there are extras not showing; using Count ( relationship::id field ) (or any field you're sure has data). Then put a button to open a new window, go to the dedicated "big portal" layout, Hide/Lock Status Bar, Adjust Window [ Resize to fit ]. There's some tricks to this new window routine, such as to check whether it's already open, whether to make it "modal" (using a Loop, Pause; be sure to put a Close button, which stops the current script if modal; do this BEFORE trying it out).
