Hello!!

I need to know if I develop a db in advanced that has custom functions, will those functions work when opened in regular version? (8.5 ADV>>8.5) Will they just be there?

Anything else I need to know aboout custom functions?

Yes they will work. It wouldnt really be pratical if they didnt. ;) You can only call them though. You can not modify them with Pro of course.

Hmmmm the only other thing that I will add about CFs are that you cant copy them without using a third party tool.

Can you elaborate on this. I copied custom functions by copy and paste from internet...

I mean that unlike Tables, fields, scripts, you can not use FM Advanced to seemlessly copy custom functions from file to file.
