Custom Functions, Adv. VS Regular Version

Hello!!

I need to know if I develop a db in advanced that has custom functions, will those functions work when opened in regular version? (8.5 ADV>>8.5) Will they just be there?

Anything else I need to know aboout custom functions?

Yes they will work. It wouldnt really be pratical if they didnt. You can only call them though. You can not modify them with Pro of course.

Hmmmm the only other thing that I will add about CFs are that you cant copy them without using a third party tool.

Can you elaborate on this. I copied custom functions by copy and paste from internet...

I mean that unlike Tables, fields, scripts, you can not use FM Advanced to seemlessly copy custom functions from file to file.
