Okay i've just made some kind of horrible error. I make a relationship and now my database is seems to be stuck in an endless loop (Find in Progress - Processing Query). it starts automatically when i open the file so i'm hoping you all can help.

Any suggestion on how I can get into the define DB area and break that relationship?

Try opening up another file and since you have advanced, turn on script debugger. Now open the other field and stop the execution of the starting script of that file. See if that helps.
