We're in the process of upgrading from 4.0 to 9. During our testing phase, we've found that we are unable to print anything to tray 1 (our envelope or manual feed of our HP LJ 4050 printer). The document prints to either the tray we select manually (every one but 1) or the default when we select tray 1. We've tried choosing both Tray 1 options offered. This is a problem with FM 9 only, no other programs. Any ideas of why this could be happening and what can we do??

I had a similar issues and part of the problem was that I had left all the printers setting at their default. Once I went through and set the paper sizes of each try in the printer and told it what type of paper (plain, letter head, etc..) it should expect be in the try the manual tray started working as I expected it too. But thats just my experience, hope it helps you some.

Sorry I didn't respond sooner, but thanks for the answer. I did fix the issue, I had to amend each of the scripts that require printing to tray 1 to not capture the default and it worked!
