trouble with error capture

I would like to suppress error messages during a script. The script produces a field validation error but then goes on to fix the problem by entering valid data into the field.

The Error dialogue box comes up even if I have included the "Set Error Capture (On)" script step. From the help files it sounds like this does not capture all errors. Is field validation one of them?

Not sure what script step you are having problems with. But here is a link that list the steps that it does not work with.

There is an option to:

Commit Records [x] Skip data entry validiation

Just for this purpose.
