Sorry for the previous message, it wasn't complete.

Filemaker unable to print via the "generic text" printer driver. I'm pretty sure that the driver is working since I am able to print using other windows applications but not filemaker.

When I try to print the "printer status" dialog box will popup, dissapear in a second and does nothing.

Please help, i need to be able to print receipt in dos font.

It might be (only guessing) that the layout has graphic elements on it, causing FMP to print things other than generic text. Or maybe (more likely) FMP cannot print text only, because it's really sending page and formatting information, even if it looks plain on-screen.

What other Windows apps can you print from?

I can print from MSWord, excel, wordpad, notepad.

By the way there is no graphic element on the layout. Only text and numbers.
