drkwiz
Help! I am new to filemaker and am not sure how to delete the PART that I created. Here's what I did: From the left-side tool menu I dragged part to the page. It became LEADING GRAND SUMMARY and now the page is split in two. When I print, an extra page comes out. I simply would like to delete this. Any suggestions?
AudioFreak
In layout mode. Go to Layouts>PartSetUp Select the part you want to delete. Michael
Ted S
I think you can also just click on the part's label and press the delete key.
drkwiz
Thanks guys for your help. Not quite there yet. I can't click on it and delete it. If I go to Part Setup i get a window with two choices. LEADING GRAND SUMMARY (which has a locked icon next to it) and BODY. If i click on Leading Grand Summary and then hit delete it asks me if I want to "delete this part and all the objects in it." I don't want to do that, as it deletes all my fields. Essentially my page is now split in two halves--the Leading Grand Summary, and the Body. I just want to do away with this divider between them . . . Thanks for your help! AudioFreak
Sounds as if you just need to move the fields temporarily out of the eading Grand Summary part then delete it and put the fields back where you want them.
