zoom field in portal

Featured Replies

I have a portal that has 2 text fields in it that can be rather large. One is comments and the other is reason…. I don’t want to make the portal gigantic, but when the user is in the portal is there a way to make that field zoom to show all its contents?

I seem to recall a post about this a while ago, but have searched and searched to find nothing.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Any ideas?

What about if the user double clicks the field- how can I program it to zoom? (kinda like how Excel works)

Thanks

Fishing for creative ideas or a quick how-to.....

Please?

Could you script it so that when you click on that specific field it opens in a new smaller window with only that field in it?

You could script it so this window open and is on top locking user out of the background window until they close the current small window.

Does any of that make sense in text? I've got a good picture of it in my head but sometimes that doesn't translate well to text.

Any ideas?

ToolTips ?

There is no way to dynamically resize portals in browse mode. My only suggestion is to give the user the ability to change to a reaord detail screen.
