What directory do you normally set cookies in on the client machine? c:cookie or is there another way?

You don't literally set the cookies yourself. The browser handles all that. Just sepcify the name, expire time etc.

Another 2 tips:

1. WC and IE are not happy with cookies and it will work on 50%

2. Do not use larger value than "9999" in expire time.

It will work only in 50% cases... IE doesn’t like WC cookies. Been there and only way out where tokens and/or JavaScript.
