Merit Solutions
For some reason typing http://localhost:16000 results in an error - "can't connect to server". Running Apache on OSX Tiger. Was fine before I used the PHP Site Assistant (which is working incidentally). I used Network Utility to check Port numbers 16000 and 16001 - neither were open. How do I open them/sort this out please?
Steven H. Blackwell
Open them in the firewall panel found in System preferences. Also try put a slash at the end of the URL. Steven
Merit Solutions
My firewall in System Prefs was off. I added the ports as you said but it still won't display localhost:16000
Merit Solutions
OK - I uninstalled FMS 9 and repaired disk permissions. Restarted and re-installed. It works fine for the moment.
