MS Excel has had wonderful charting capabilities for over 10 years.

I would like to be able to do charting natively in Filemaker without having to rely on plug-ins to make this happen.

You can do it with a webviewer in 8.5 and 9, I havn't tried it yet but if you search the forums you should find an example.
