Hi,

I just uploaded a new database to our filemaker server, but multiple users cannot modify it at the same time... Multiple people can log in, but they will receive a warning saying another user s currently modifying the file.

I created accounts and had the database automatically sign users in as the restricted account ("staff")... I changed the file's group to "fmsadmin".

Is there anything else I'm missing?

Check the file's permissions.

I did. They are read/write to all... :)

Check the OS level file permissions as well as the users' permissions.

This problem does happen if you manually copy the file to the server disk. Did you copy them manually or did you use the 'Upload' feature within the server software?
