Field names in layout mode: Powerful Scripts!

I've inherited a Filemaker database that I need to modify. When I go into layout mode, instead of seeing the field *names* in the various field boxes, I'm seeing little advertizing blurbs like

"Powerful Scripts!"

"Customizeable Buttons!"

Is this some sort of security/secrecy option the designer activated, or what? What's the point? How do I get the field names to show up instead?

Turn off View > Show > Sample Data.
