I've been looking around for an answer to this question:

Can I Sync Filemaker with .mac?

I have a home computer and a computer in my recording studio. I want to sync my Serial Number and Invoice databases on both machine.

Any ideas?

No you can't filemaker isn't file-based but protocol based in it's interaction between copies, it would require you hypothetically could:

1) Turn off OS level filesharing for your .mac on specific folders.

2) The ability to run an application in the .mac environment.

No the only correct solution is to keep both machies up, and then peer2peer over the internet. Or find a webhotel which can host filemaker solutions ... a quick google search for this string

"filemaker hosting"

...will yield a few.
