I have a database with company, branch tables. These are related as one to many relationship. CompanyReport layout has a branch portal, with 'set sliding/printing' option on. Portal row number is set to six. If company has two or three branch records, in preview mode, it displays minus one record and also portal is not formatted properly. Attached is the sample file. Same file shows proper results in Fm 8.5. It behaves differently in FM 8.5 and 9 advanced version. Why is it so?

Please guide.

Ran into a similar problem myself. Portals do not print well. Best not to even try. What you want to do is print from a list view in the Branch Offices table. It seems backwards but you can use the Branch Offices and Companies relationship to show a single company with multiple branch offices in a layout based on the branch office table.
