I just fell in love with Filemaker

Featured Replies

I spent a whack of money and 6 months on two developers having an application developed in php and mysql.

I learned file maker and built the same application in three weeks (thanks to Oliver for some pointers on the way) and started selling it yesterday.

The filemaker version is far superior and the fact that I can quickly make changes without being beholden to a developer is a huge plus.

The earnings from the sale of the applications have already paid for the cost buying filemaker.

I'm in love and it feels good!

peter that is fantastic welcome to the fold of developers. You mentioned you are selling your solution what market?

It's a tool for systemizing a small or medium business. Basically documenting all the work of the business so that it can be run without the owner's everyday presence.

The website telling all is at http://www.NoMore247.com

I'm a bit nervous of telling you all about it - it's like cooking for chefs - you could all probably do a better job but only one person can be in the kitchen at a time!

Lol, I love the images.

Looks like a good tool, though the interface could probably use some work - but you almost have me wanting to buy it lol.
