Hi

I am creating an invoice with a repeating field. How do I insert a "next page" into a multi page invoice.

I tried putting text in the footer but it puts "next page" on all of the pages.

What do you mean by next page?

do you want

1 of 5

2 of 5

3 of 5

to appear in the footer?

I meant if there is more than one page in the invoice the message will appear to tell the reader to flip over because there is a second page.

1 of 5 pages is a good idea too. I would like to know how to do that too.

Now I am getting greedy.

thanks

1 fo 5

2 of 5

3 of 5

will only shown in the preview mode.

you need to add just a couple of steps to a script.

you would did one field that would be a caluclation field using the

Get(page number) function

this would get you the first number

1 fo 5

2 of 5

Make sure the calculation is unstored

then you will need a second field format as a number.

in a script use the set field command as

Go to Record/Request/Page(last)

Enter preview mode

Set field( your field;get(pagenumber)

Go to Record/Request/Page (First)

This will get you

1 of 5

2 of 5

this will get you the last number

See if my Lint posted here doesn't help.
