Hi,

I have a text calculation that looks like this:

"This is to confirm that Mr. "& First Name&" "&Last Name&", has worked at this Company since "&Date of Hire&" as "&Title&". And receives a basic salary of $ "&

Salary

The problem I am having is not being able to format the both the Date field "Date of Hire" and the number field "Salary" inside this text caculation.

I would like the "Salary" number with 0 decimils and thousands separator ",".

Hi Alismail,

There is no need to create a calculation to hold this value. It can be easily handled using a merge field and can be formatted as you wish as well. Just another option to consider which will save a needless calc in your field definitions ...
