Ok, I have 2 databases linked together. One is contacts the other investigations.

I want to have a list in investigations of "Last Name, First Name, Company, Email, Phone" to show up if in contacts the field "case number" is the same as in investigations.

IE: If the case number is the same in both databases, then those fields named, will show up in a list/portal in investigations. They are both related already.

Any advice??

Thanks

Hmm. I'm thinking a contact may have more than one investigation. So, your investigation table should store the contact key. How you populate this key is up to you (popup menu, create investigation from the contact form, see the sample file I posted in this thread ). Then, just display the contact fields on the investigation layout using the relationship btw investigations and contacts.

Also, on the contact form you could have a portal to their related investigations using the same relationship.
