I have a start up script that finds records from a invoice layout. When the invoice layout closes, the original layout (contacts) shows the related found records from invoices. What I need to add is some script that will show the original record (last viewed) before the start up script performed find.

Can you give clearer information on original record (last viewed)? Is it from what layout? Invoice layout or contact layout?

I made a work around with NEW WINDOW for start up script.

Is EXIT APPLICATION in scripts the same as QUIT Filemaker with a Mac?

Sorry, I am not sure if it is the same since I am not using Macs. For your information, if you are using New Window, after you finish using it, it would be better if you use script "Close Window." So, if I use open "New Window", usually, I will close it with "Close Window." It's my preference...
