grumbachr Posted January 25, 2008 Posted January 25, 2008 I have just recently upgraded FileMaker Server 9 to Server 9 Advanced. All things are working well with FM Network file and hosting but the IWP and all Web hosting has somehow picked up the IP of our 2nd Nic card which is reserved for our SAN. I gone through every setting tab looking for a place to specify the correct IP with no luck. Can I change this somehow or do I need to unintall and reinstall making sure it finds the right settings?
Steven H. Blackwell Posted January 25, 2008 Posted January 25, 2008 Well, if it is outside web traffic that's hitting this server, the router table may need remapping so that Port 80 packets go to the correct internal NAT address. Steven
Wim Decorte Posted January 26, 2008 Posted January 26, 2008 FMS basically piggy-backs on what the OS does, so you'd have to use the OS features to limit/block traffic on ceratain NICs. On Windows you can use the IP filtering for that.
