cant save as pdf in filemaker 9 runtime application

Hi all, I have a data database in filemaker 9 that I can save current record as pdf and then email by script ,however when I convert to runtime this feature does not work ...any help would be appreciated ...I dont really want to go back to a 3rd party pdf driver

You would need a plugin for that:

There are a number of "gotchas" with runtimes.

You can't export to excel either, nor web publish etc..

Check the docs.

I use a runtime on Windows, created in FMP Adv8.0. I export to Excel all the time. Does that capability go away with ver9?
