Leather Knight Posted February 8, 2008 Posted February 8, 2008 I have a global field to hold a company name. It is all working correctly, except for this one issue. I make the font to be black, but in the form and reports it shows up as white! No matter what I have tried, changing fonts, colors, backgrounds, etc... it is still white. Any advice??
Pirsqed Posted February 8, 2008 Posted February 8, 2008 You'll probably want to check the Text Format options in the layout mode for your form and reports. If those are all set correctly, then I'm not sure what else it could be.
Leather Knight Posted February 8, 2008 Author Posted February 8, 2008 Yep. It is set when you create the global fields...You must set the font, color and size then create the field for the global..Thanks
Lee Smith Posted February 8, 2008 Posted February 8, 2008 Not quite sure if you found your problem or not. If you are saying that you have already checked the field attributes of all of the fields involved here (i.e. Layout Mode, select the field and looked at the type descriptions), and they are as you set them up to be, then you can eliminate that as a problem. I'm wondering if all entries in the field are the same, or if you have a mixture of white and black text showing? If so, perhaps someone is populating the field with Pasted Entries, in which case the text is retaining the clipboard format. If that isn't the case, then attach a copy of the file and let has have a look. It seems I have asked you to do this in the past. Lee

Leather Knight Posted February 9, 2008 Author Posted February 9, 2008 I never found the fix. I just made a new global field and it worked. The user goes to the global field and puts their own name and logo there. Then it shows up in reports. It was set to black font, but somehow got corrupted so I re did the fields, and now it works..
