I am fairly a new user on FileMaker. Does anyone know if you'd be able to scan in a receipt and somehow attach it to a single record in the database? My other thought was to create a button to call that record, however, some folks who will be retrieving the pdf receipt, may not have access to the saved file. What do you advise?

First the container field needs to be created in the table where the PDF needs to be stored. On the layout we can provide buttons which will insert the PDF in to that container field. Before that PDF needs to be present on the local machine to be placed in that container field.
