Saubs Posted February 27, 2008 Posted February 27, 2008 One of FileMaker's simplest tools is the page number symbol, but I'm having an unexpected problem with it: I have placed a p.## text object in the footer. Am browsing 3 pages' worth of records in List View. In Preview Mode, the page number symbol correctly shows p.1. However when the report is printed, p.0 is printed on the first page, p.1 on the second, etc. Obviously I'm making a dumb mistake somewhere, but can't figure out what it is. Suggestions greatly appreciated.
comment Posted February 27, 2008 Posted February 27, 2008 I made a guess here: http://www.fmforums.com/forum/showtopic.php?tid/193092/ Unfortunately, the OP did not reply, so it's still a guess.
Saubs Posted February 27, 2008 Author Posted February 27, 2008 Comment, your reply to that other post was right on the money, and it solved my problem. Thank you so much, I obviously overlooked that slightly obscure/hidden setting. For anyone else interested, Comment pointed out the Number Pages From setting in the Print script step. When I set the value to 1, page numbering began working correctly. Thank you again, Comment--much appreciated.
