Format output to email

I am using the mail.it plug in to export information to pop email and am having trouble formatting the data the way I would like it to show up in the email. I am familiar with TextStyleAdd functions, but can't see to make the text "tab" properly. I am trying to show columns of data in tabbed format so that they show up nicely in a column. ... ie.. Part, qty, desc, price...etc.

Anyone out there who can point me in the right direction?

Thanks in advance for your help.

I would save the information (Save Records as PDF) to a desktop file (use same file everytime) and attach it to the email using Send Mail. No need in 8.5 to use a plug in.

Yes I have considered this, but one of the slick things about mail.it is that you don't need to have an email client, or acrobat. When product is shipped from our facility, the shipping dept just selects a calendar icon that runs a script. The ship date populates and in the background an email is sent from POP mail server. No need to open up you local mail client, no fooling around with attachments, it's very quick and seemless and don't want to loose this unability.

I am just looking for a test formatting function that will allow me to simulate the TAB feature in MS Word, Outlook,..etc

Thanks, John
