May 5, 200817 yr Thanks for the demo. This is a good tip. One thing that I learned is that you MUST leave the Command and Usage properties alone (i.e. "Close" and "(Default enabling)" under the Menu Item Properties. If these are disabled, any custom script assigned will NOT run when you use the close box, but it WILL run when you use File > Close menu item. I do have to say that the way you structured your scripts is very strange! I would never hide script steps in a script named "-". :

June 9, 200817 yr Hey Rivet, This stuff i was playing with last year may make your week : I love the Custom Menubar but you can do much more and control pretty much all of the window commands too… Greyout MenuBar Items Example Window and Toolbar Customization Example (make sure you look at the other files in the topics). best Stuart
