At one client, I have included SC to run as a service under Apache, but I cannot see the SC window to show the URL.

I know it runs because trying to launch it with the Java applet, I get the following error message:

Problem starting/stopping: Protocol handler tnitialization failed: java.net.BindExeption:Addres already in use: JVM_Bind:8080

Installation was on a Windows XP SP2 machine running as a local server. I can log in with full admin access.

Is there a way to get the SC window in view?

Peter,

It looks like the problem is in something else other than Tomcat is listening to port 8080 on your machine.

To test that stop SuperContainer and Tomcat then telnet to port 8080 on you machine, and if you're not getting a connection refused error, then something is listening to that port.
