bruceR Posted March 19, 2008 Posted March 19, 2008 (edited) Safari 3.1 introduces a lot of new features; and FileMaker Webviwer is based on the underlying Webkit technology of Safari. I am wondering what this means to WebViwer. Faster javascript; OK, faster javascript. But this document: http://images.apple.com/safari/docs/Safari_Product_Overview.pdf Describes HTML5; CSS3 Fonts; CSS Animation; Off line Storage; etc. How does that affect us, what new things can we do? comment Posted March 19, 2008 Posted March 19, 2008 How sure can we be that upgrading Safari upgrades the web viewer too? I used to think that the web viewer was merely an instance of the OS browser, but now I have some doubts: how else can one explain the differences between FM versions 8.5 and 9 under Windows?
