rivet Posted April 9, 2008 Posted April 9, 2008 This maybe impossible, but we have a list of comment in a petition and would like to find common phrases among them. Does anyone have any ideas.
mr_vodka Posted April 9, 2008 Posted April 9, 2008 What would constitute what is considered a common phrase verses what is not? How many words etc? "quick brown" or "quick brown fox"?
rivet Posted April 9, 2008 Author Posted April 9, 2008 (edited) that just the thing, I guess there would have to be 3 word combinations, 4 word combinations. I think it is too big to handle, but I thought I would put it out there. Edited April 9, 2008 by Guest
Lee Smith Posted April 9, 2008 Posted April 9, 2008 What are you wanting to do with information as an end result. Perhaps there would be a better way, such as using Keywords, a Conditional Value List, or a Relationship. Lee
rivet Posted April 12, 2008 Author Posted April 12, 2008 In the end, we are trying to find common thoughts, from a list of comments from an online petition. I think I know what you are suggesting. Maybe I could: -break all comments down to single words -find the count on keys words. -then build something that will extract phrases around a selected key word. here i go.
