May 8, 200817 yr Break each timeslot into it's own related record! When summarizing or seaching do it from the most atomic table. When searching use the GTRR(FS) backward thru the relations (in plural) --sd

May 9, 200817 yr Ok this is a little different than I thought at first sight - the upload of JMO's template explained a lot. You must you explain why you wish to make cross-tab summaries in a portalized view? Next issue is that you join table records seems to need a field for size as well. Finally should you investigate this technique: http://edoshin.skeletonkey.com/2006/12/crosstab_report.html#more As you see would I strongly suggest you somehow gets the portalized idea of yours out of the head. Not that it isn't feasible but the extra measures to get it into a portal are not worth it in my humble opinion. --sd
