new table, new fields, WILL NOT DISPLAY

Featured Replies

;) I am attempting to create a new table and have it display in a portal. Problem is, the field entry areas do not display when placed into browse mode.

I have even attempted to copy an existing portal and have same issue. If I create the table/fields and add them to a layout without a portal, same thing happens.

When I look at the relationships graph, table looks like the rest of those that do work, but

it doesn't display. I am probably not understanding some small item, but it's become really frustrating.

Help is appreciated! :P

Have you checked Allow Creation of new records on the Portal TO?

Is there any way you could show your file? It sounds like a relationship.

The layout that you're on - are you looking at a record? How does that record relate to the data in the other table that you want to show in a portal?

:worship: Hi - yes, it was the relationship (well, sort of ...).

The relationship was correct, but the data hadn't been populated. I expected the field entry areas to display, regardless if records there or not, as was the case with other DBs I'd used before. I created some new test data and played about with the key fields vs the orignal tables - IT NOW WORKS. I guess I get the "DUH" award this week.

Thank you very much.
