dysong3 Posted May 16, 2008 Posted May 16, 2008 (edited) I was wanting to add a simple old .fp5 db to my server files. I opened the db with FMP9 to convert it to .fp7 format and then tried to use the "upload a database" function in Server. However the server fails to see the file. I can't find anything in any documentation about this. I thought the problem might be found with "sharing and permission" using get info, but I can't find anything wrong there. Any ideas anyone ? jorfasan Posted February 24, 2010 Posted February 24, 2010 Yesterday happened to me. When conversion happens if there is no .fp5 extension, fm10 seems to ignore it as well. Thus you may end with a no fp7 file... that seemed OK to me, to my mac. Later, when the win file shares such a file, simply it is not at net's disposal. I converted again with the extension fp7 and all worked flawlessly. HTH :-)
