this is related to my last posted question. . .

okay, i used the sort function in the portal to put the completed actions on bottom, but i ran into a problem. On the data entry screen, i also use a portal to put in new actions, and if the portal is sorted by whether the action is complete or not, then the actions are out of order. So if i put something in yesterday that i completed and something in today that i haven't completed, today's shows before yesterdays. i don't want this on the data entry screen, jsutthe reports screen. I tried to duplicate the relationship then sort by date, but it doesn't display all the info correctly. Instead, the first related record repeats as many times as there are related records for that respective job.

any ideas?

Make sure that after you duplicated the relationship you place the fields from that new relationship in the portal. It sounds like you still have fields from the original relationship.
