I am entering text only on a set of layouts providing "help" information.

Some of the text areas automatically return to the next line as I type.

Other areas push the right hand margin further to the right if I don't do a manual carriage return.

I can't find the setting that makes the return to next line automatic.

Thanks in advance for any shared knowledge.

If you just click the Text cursor on the layout, it will run to the right until you put in a Hard Return.

If you take the Text cursor, and draw a Rectangle on the layout, the Text will be constrained to the Rectangle.

Or if you select an existing rectangle and change its width. In other words, FileMaker will expand the box unless you instruct it what size you want, which makes sense.
