simple single check-box

how can i have a field act as a simple 1 or 0 via a check box?

all i seem to be able to get gives me a value list missing error in my layout, i see little point in creating a value list for 1 or 0!

Jsut create a value list called flag with a value of 1. Then use that as your checkbox.
