john9210 Posted June 10, 2008 Posted June 10, 2008 I'm not sure what the Print Setup script step is for. The Print script step lets you select the records to be printed (current or browsed) and lets you set all the parameters that can be set in the Print Setup script step. When would the Print Setup script step be needed in a script?
mr_vodka Posted June 10, 2008 Posted June 10, 2008 Usually, I use the print setup step to select Orientation. Then follow it up with a Print Step where the user can interact with it.
john9210 Posted June 11, 2008 Author Posted June 11, 2008 Yes, but don't you have to make sure the Print step uses the same orientation as the Print Setup step? If so, why bother with the Print Setup?
mr_vodka Posted June 11, 2008 Posted June 11, 2008 No you dont have to go through that process in the Print step. All you have to do is print.
john9210 Posted June 12, 2008 Author Posted June 12, 2008 Thanks for the tip. But I've read it a number of times. It doesn't address my question.
