I have a 3 fields

1) Cost

2) Profit Percentage

3) Retail

Now when you put in the cost and the retail in the proper fields the Profit Percentage will show you your profit margin in percentage. Works beautifully, but I also want to have the Profit Percentage be modifiable so if you want to make your profit margin .18 you type that in the Profit Percentage field and the Retail will reflect the change. Basically making a calculation field modifiable. Is this possible?

Why not make your field a Auto Enter Calculation of .15, and then you can override it with .18 if you want?

Won't that just make the retail field unmodifiable then?

The calculation is off, but I get the jest of it. Make the percentage field modifiable like in your first post, then have another field that is hidden to do the calculation and show up in the retail field. I will let you know if it works
