LaRetta Posted June 26, 2008 Posted June 26, 2008 Oh please, FileMaker, I've tried to learn a new habit ... but it burns me almost daily when it continues to run a script which I'm debugging when I chose the windows X and close debugger. It should CANCEL. Please oh please fix it. Window users expect things to stop and not continue when a window closes and I think that is normal, expected behavior. To have it continue running the script is madness. :crazy2:
mr_vodka Posted June 26, 2008 Posted June 26, 2008 Its used to drive me completely bonkers after the behavior change with FM9 but I got used to it by now I guess...
LaRetta Posted June 26, 2008 Author Posted June 26, 2008 Hi John!! Most times I remember but like today - I was deep in debugging and did what we Windows users do to cancel out and stop something ... I closed the window. And it ran my Interfaces. It goes against 'expected behavior.' And, try as I might, I can never support it although eventually I'll quit complaining. But it is NOT Apple guideline theory ...
mr_vodka Posted June 26, 2008 Posted June 26, 2008 Dont get me wrong, I would still like the functionality to go back the way it was as well...
