So, my invoice database is set up so that every invoice has exactly one type. The possible types include Credit, Paid, Charge on Account, etc. Initially, I had it set up so that for searching, the types were listed in a dropdown menu, and that worked great. But looking at it now, the user may want to look at several types at once, so I've changed the dropdown menu into a checkbox set. My problem now is how to search. I know that when multiple values are selected, Filemaker separates each value with a carriage return, but I'm not sure how to do the search with this information. The search should be something like "type1 OR type3 OR type7". Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
