Determine a file size

Is there a function that works like the Get(filesize) function only for a specified file instead of the current db?

If the file is stored within a container field then you can use Length ( containerField ). If it is referenced, then I dont think it can be done natively in FileMaker. You may need to execute an applescript to capture it.
