I have been using FM9 Server for a couple of months now and have been using the scheduled script function quite a bit to automate tasks.

I am currently working on a script that checks quantity levels of stock, creates a order, saves in Pdf format and sends it via email to a supplier.

I am using a email plugin on my FM server which works well. The problem is that the 'save as PDF' is not web-compatible and therefore I cannot use it in a scheduled script. Is there any way round this as all my other script lines are server friendly.

thanks

You may have to go back to the the bot method with a stand alone box that performs scripts with scheduler.

I think I may of found the answer.

Using a trial version of 360 works Remote Scripter I was able to get a client pc to save the file in pdf on the servers HD , then the server script simply emails this file to my supplier.
