trmupstage Posted July 17, 2008 Posted July 17, 2008 I've noticed that my server C drive is starting to fill up with FM log files. Especially: C:Program FilesFileMakerFileMaker ServerAdminadmin-master-tomcatlogs That directory is around 1.3GB of just log files. Can I safely delete logs? Is there an automated way within FM Server to clear out old logs. I'm using FM9 advanced server. Thanks
bl Posted December 3, 2008 Posted December 3, 2008 Hello, Wondering if you ever got a response to this post. I would like to clean up my logs as well. Thanks, Barbara
Steven H. Blackwell Posted December 4, 2008 Posted December 4, 2008 After closing the files first and then stopping the FMS service, just copy all the logs to another location where you can refer to them alter if need be. Then you can delete the ones on the C drive. BTW, you can control log sizes in the Console. Steven
bl Posted December 4, 2008 Posted December 4, 2008 Yes- I tried setting the log size in the Admin Console, but I have one log that has exceeded that limit (Stats). Does this only apply to certain logs? Barbara
