I was asked today to clone a database with no data in it. I thought this would be an easy task but it turned out to be very tough. Here is what I attempted, note that I never found the solution.

I tried to copy and paste the database file itself, however when I opened it I couldn't do anything, it was not modifiable, despite the fact that I am logged in as an Admin. I checked the privileges on the file itself and everyone had read & write (strange?). Anyways so I canned that idea and tried something else.

I read some things in the knowledge base and found that there was a "Save a copy as" option in the file menu. I opened my database and then pulled down my file menu and guess what, Save a copy as was grayed out ( I am still logged in as admin). Again I double checked the file privileges and all was good.

After this I figured I would give up lol.

Another thing I wanted to quickly ask was where do I edit privileges for users. I couldn't find anything in the Server interface.. seems odd that it wouldn't be right there.

My guess is that the files are being hosted. You will have to unhost the files and then save a clone.
