A bit confused about developer extensions and utilities . . .

My understanding is that because I have the developer edition, I can generate a distributable runtime version of my database solution.

But can I generate both Mac and WinDoze versions of that distributable runtime solution from my Mac?

You will need to install FileMaker Pro Advance on a Windows (or virtual) machine to create the necessary Windows version of the runtime.

Please change your Profile to Reflect the Version, and Edition you are using. Currently you are showing the Standard Edition. For version 7, there is a Developer Edition. If you are using anything newer, Developer was changed to Advance.

In order to change this, you to MY PROFILE >> Control Panel >> [color:red]FileMaker Questions located at the bottom of the list.

And for some reason, the drop-down list in "MY PROFILE >> Control Panel >> FileMaker Questions" shows an entry for 7 Advanced, but not 7 Developer.

You have discovered an error, thank you for pointing it out.

Choose 7 Advance for now. At least the members will know what tools you have.

In the meantime, I'll let Admin know about this.
