My situation is this:

About 20 pc's and mac's in LAN.

One machine with filemaker server 9 adv and all others with the program itself.

I would like to know if it is possible to place a shortcut in each machine in the desktop that take the user directaly to a especific database in my server instead of having to enter the program clicking on open remote clicking on the host etc ..... the usual annyoing procedure..

Why not just make a simple opener file, that runs a script that opens the selected file on the server.

Yes, but be sure to trap for errors, especially when the file is not available for some reason.
