August 26, 200817 yr Hi - I've been happily using various features form the Scriptology Theme Library since I bought it last year, just by trail and error and have found it very useful. One area I can't seem to grasp on my own though is how to achieve the nice gradual color changes on graphical layout objects like I see in many of the Layouts. I note that when I copy an object to my solution and re-size it vertically to fit my own design, I get the hard bands of color. Similarly, the menu of 'Gradients' appears to be a really useful tool for, I'm just guessing, overlaying a light/dark transparent object over a solid-colored object to achieve that nice "grading" of color. Yes? But how? Is there an explanation of how to manipulate these tools or achieve these effects? I've searched the Forums and discovered threads about problems in the way Windows renders these items -- I'm designing on Mac for a PC client -- should I just stay away from these? Thanks for any guidance and pointers to helpful resources. Albert
August 26, 200817 yr Author Thank you! That video was enormously helpful. I;m confused now about the Scriptology products though. I purchased the "Theme Library", which does not include the Gradient database as illustrated in the video. In it he refers to the "Scriptology Interface Toolkit" -- but I can't find it anywhere on the ISO site? I see other products like the Icon library, but no Interface Toolkit -- the video was from 2003 -- has this product been discontinued??? Thanks again, Albert
