Displaying child portal inside a master portal

Hi...

I have one control layout based on some global table. I have one master & a child table. I now need to show all the main records along with their respective child records in one single portal on control layout.

Please suggest.

A portal can show records from one table only. You could show the child records in a calculated repeating field (fixed number of children), or make the portal into the child table and show the parent once for each group - see:
