Anyone managed to install the ODBC on the server instead of client based machines? If so, how did you go about referencing the database from client machines.

I am not sure what your issue is. If you have it on the server, you can access the ESS information. You do not need the driver installed on each client machine.

This was also a mystery to me until I tried it - Mr Vodka is right, just install the drivers on the server.

Beware - you lose the Execute SQL script step this way, but ESS methods look fine.
