For years now, I have been using usps.com loaded into a web viewer (or scraping it with vbs) to get county information for addresses in my solution. Over the years I have seen a few instances that usps.com provided the wrong county for an address. Rarely has this caused an issue but, last week this error caused my company to sell in another franchise's territory (territories are defined by counties).

Long story short, I need to get more accurate information than USPS.com can provide, the corporate company uses mappoint but I have yet to see a good way to integrate that into my solution. Ideally, I want a way for 15-25 users to be able to lookup the county for any given address and to return that info to Filemaker. (...and it needs to be accurate.)

Anybody have any suggestions?

I think the Premium Edition at Geo Data Source "may" do this.

I attempted to use the cities database once but the size of the data is huge.

Anyway it may be a place to start.
